The trailer explains how the world of Secret of Mana became what it is and that through the misuse of Mana itself, the Gods punished mankind. However, I may be wrong on that so I will ask Square Enix to confirm. This is because earlier this year, Square Enix released the Seiken Densetsu Collection on the Switch in Japan. The Secret of Mana remake is released for PS4, PS Vita and PC on February 15.
