Considered by many as the largest of the “boutique agencies”, Excel represents a selective client list of some of the world’s top athletes, ranking No. The football-focused agency now manages some $4.4 billion in contracts, earning them a cool $85 million in commissions. Thus, agencies and agents who represent players in these two sports are measured by those marketing figures and not winnings.
