However, the data also shows an annual, year-on-year price increase in Wales of 2%, bringing the average property value to £210,000. This 2% increase is marginally higher than the UK average house price, now at which has seen a modest year-on-year rise of 1.3% . Monmouthshire remains the most expensive county to buy a home with the average price now standing at £333,000.
