With about 28 million users, Fitbit is one of the most social general fitness tracking apps and an excellent place to start for health-tracking beginners. Apple’s built-in Activity and Workout apps, which both connect to the Health and Activity app on the iPhone, are very good, but you can also install third-party apps such as Strava. Apple’s Activity app tracks your move, exercise and standing goals, closing a series of colourful rings to show progress.
