With few taking holidays abroad this year, more of us will instead be enjoying the great British outdoors during summer. Make that day trip a lot more fun with a can of something alcoholic, be it wine or a cocktail. Lots of us have already discovered the delights of what the booze business calls RTDs, or ready-to-drinks. To put that in context, sales of beer, wine and spirits were up just a few per cent. The advantages of slinging a few cans into a picnic basket as you head to the beach, a festival or the cricket are clear.
