The latest update comes after DailyMail.com exclusively revealed back in November 2023 that Whoopi is keen to cast Jennifer Hudson in Sister Act 3. Indeed, Jennifer dazzled The View cohost – and Sister Act fans – last year when she dressed up as Whoopi's famous character to deliver a breathtaking medley from the film franchise. An insider previously revealed: 'The new Sister Act is going to happen. Daryl, now 33, and Alexa, now 37, were just seven and 12 years old when they made their debut in Spy Kids in 2001, which was followed up with two more films, Spy Kids: The Island of Lost Dreams and Spy Kids 3D: Game Over.
