I arrived first and, after getting settled in at a table, I saw Jen walking toward me. When he got about two metres away, he stopped directly in front of Jen and shouted some racial slurs at her. She said something back to him as we moved away from him again, but I didn’t catch what it was in the moment. I continued walking away, thinking Jen was right behind me.
