If a political party has a strong hold in a particular area, they dominate the area and it is known as their party village. From the bus shelters, to hoardings, benches by the roads, posters on the walls, building, so much that many people also wear red veshtis. The BJP man lived in a CPI(M) dominated area and vice versa. This is Pareekadavu, a RSS-BJP dominated area. Interestingly, there is a rule in Kerala that no public property can be used to promote political parties.
