From The Times, July 28, 1921August 1, the Secretary of State for Air told the House of Commons yesterday, is still the British Government’s date for closing down airship establishments. The expert committee which has been investigating their capacity and potentialities as the long-distance transport vehicles of the future reported on Tuesday, but we believe that the report will not reach the Dominion Prime Ministers till this morning. They are to have a special meeting today to decide whether they shall attempt to save the airship, but they will hardly have had time to scan the report, they will be oppressed by the feeling that a decision favourable to airships will cost money and will have to be justified before their Parliaments, and they
