Temporary work visasThe H-1B temporary work visa allocates 65,000 places for qualified applicants, registered by qualified US employers. Thus, Filipino H-1B applicants are competing for the remaining 58,200. The H-2B temporary working visa, on the other hand, is capped at 66,000 per fiscal year.
