The same righteous benchmarks have rarely been applied when those independent organisations allegedly act not in the best interests of the nation. Over the past eight years, 56 parliamentary motions to amend sections of the 2017 charter have been tabled -- all but one were rejected. This is for all of us, and the Feb 8 poll is just the first of three referenda before a new charter is completed.
