New York (CNN Business) The US jobs market has come a long way since the worst days of the pandemic when more than 20 million Americans lost their jobs. Now the recovery is moving into a new phase -- one that will likely be slower. For Friday's March jobs report, economists polled by Refinitiv expect 490,000 positions to have been added. If the prediction proves correct, the nation will have recovered more than 90% of all jobs lost during the pandemic. On the one hand, this shows how well the recovery is still going.
