Trump has repeatedly objected to Fox News's polling, given that it, unlike the network's prime-time programming, has generally offered an objective, realistic assessment of the political moment. In 2016, Fox News’s polling missed the actual result by two percentage points when considering their four-party poll responses. It had Hillary Clinton at 48 percent and Trump at 44; the actual result had Clinton at 48 and Trump at 46.
