(CNN) Whether it was via legal arguments or exchanges published in a controversial tell-all by a former administration member, President Donald Trump had to contend with his past amid ongoing, very current, issues this week. Though Trump has so far named two justices to the Supreme Court, the highest court in the land delivered two significant blows to his administration, first by ruling that federal law protects LGBTQ workers, and second by upholding the Obama-era DACA immigration program. Trump had his say on Twitter, quipping : "Do you get the impression that the Supreme Court doesn't like me?'" SCOTUS isn't in the business of making personality judgements, but Trump's former national security adviser John Bolton certainly is in his new tell-all book. Among other bombshells, Bolton claims that Trump personally asked his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, to help him win the 2020 US presidential election , according to a copy obtained by CNN Wednesday.
