She gave a speech about science and rationality, mentioning astrology and a lack of knowledge about evolution and climate change. Gen. Julie Payette used a speech to the Canadian Science Policy Convention in Ottawa to urge those in attendance to shut down misinformation about everything from climate change to astrology. They said the Governor-General had offended truthy Canadians, i.e., those who go with what they feel to be true rather than facts.
