Hjerto-Dahl has been capped six times for the Norway Under-21 international team and has played 87 times for the Tromso first team since making his senior debut in 2023. He is under contract with the Norwegian side until December 2027, but appears unlikely to see out the final two years of his deal, with his reputation rocketing.
