Now, Ms. Reid is solo, no net, no nothing — just a ton of crisp, interesting cluing, long entries and some great debuts in a big open grid. According to this puzzle’s print introduction, Ms. Reid lives in Santa Ana, Calif., with two sons and two daughters, plays piano and constructs in the evenings, when things are comparatively quiet. Tricky CluesI’ll admit, given the title of this puzzle — “Theme Shmeme” — I looked for a theme with memes.
