Last night reports suggested that the 1922 Executive had voted on whether or not to change Tory party rules to allow a new confidence vote in Theresa May. Others think the PM will try to tough it out and that she hasn’t given up yet on putting her bill before MPs. It’s only two days since Mrs May said “it’s a great time to be alive”.
