Suspec­t has been referr­ed to the crimin­al courtA security guard of a new housing scheme in Dubai caught a thief on Wednesday after he fell into a pothole while trying to escape, Khaleej Times reported. The thief, reported as a 47-year-old Asian man, along with his gang members, was chased down the street by the security official and landed inside the pothole. Upon confrontation, he pursued the men and that is when one of the perpetrators fell into the ditch. Following his arrest, he was charged with attempted theft and the public prosecution requested for his imprisonment and deportation. The man has been referred to the criminal court.
