The deaths were reported from residents of Bandaragama, Colombo, Nawalapitiya, Galle, Ginimellagaha, Gintota and Radhawana areas. Accordingly, the total number of deaths due to Covid infection in the country has increased to 1,243, according to the Government Information Department.
