Just go directly to Apple.“It’s highly unlikely that Apple would send you an unsolicited text message about your lost iPhone. Instead of trusting a random text message, take matters into your own hands and use the built-in tools your phone has. If you believe your lost phone has been compromised, change your Apple Account password immediately, so that a scammer can’t access your valuable personal information. If you get a suspicious message from Apple, take a screenshot of the message and email the screenshot to reportphishing@apple.com.
