The restaurant which is located in an ornate building with traditional windows and carved wood paneling is in Fuzhou, a city with a population of over 7million in the south east of the country. A recent photograph of the fast food restaurant, which is also decorated with large red 'paper' lanterns went viral in hours. If this is Macca's imagine what the rest of the city looks like,' one woman said. Other 'fancy' McDonald's restaurants includes a very brightly-coloured one in Dallas, Texas, styled on the outside to look like a Happy Meal box.
