Despite his Chelsea side looking defensively solid – keeping 10 clean sheets in their past 12 matches – Tuchel is keen to strengthen his backline this summer. Intriguingly, Chelsea are set to face off against Varane and Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the Champions League later this month. Before moving to Real Madrid in 2011, he almost signed for Manchester United.
