As far as MCU movies go, it’s a perfectly normal post-debut hold, as that 60% Friday drop is closer to Doctor Strange (-54%) than Thor: The Dark World (-67%). It should be over $600 million worldwide by tomorrow, with an outside shot (speculation alert) of being over the $642m global cume of Thor: The Dark World. At a glance, we may be looking for at least a $70m domestic total (if not $80-$90m) for the $28m Mila Kunis/Kristen Bell/Kathryn Hahn sequel. Blumhouse and Universal/Comcast Corp.’s Happy Death Day will make around $1.43m (-47%) in weekend five for a $55m domestic cume.
