Three Kakamega Azimio governors have pledged to support President William Ruto. "We have shelved politics and decided to work together with President William Ruto to attract development in this region. Natembeya decried the poverty in Western, saying people are suffering and it was only Ruto who can save the situation. "Regardless of where we voted we have only one President William Ruto and we are all behind him," Natembeya said. "Help us revamp the sugar and maize industry because there is a lot of poverty in the Western region."
