The accident occurred at the upazila’s Malihata Bazar area around 6am on Saturday, said Md Hossain Sarker, officer-in-charge of Khatihata Highway Police Station. The dead have been identified as Nasar Mian, 17, Arman, 17 and autorickshaw driver Saidul, 18. A Dhaka-bound bus from Sylhet rammed the autoricksahw while it was crossing the road, said OC Hossain, quoting witnesses. “Nasar Mia died instantly. The bus drove off before it could be stopped, OC Hossain said.
