Valley, Albion and Waitaki Boys’ High School picked up maximum points in Borton Cup cricket in North Otago on Saturday. At Weston, Valley made 240 all out batting first against St Kevin’s College, which made 144 in reply. Liam Direen, Harry Murphy and Jacob Klemick took wickets for the College side. Batting first Albion made 220 for five with Jonty Naylor (64) receiving plenty of encouragement from Henry Godkin (67). Bowling for the home side, Thomas took three for 61 off his 10 overs.
