Rishi Sunak and Marcus Rashford have been included in Time magazine's list of 100 young 'emerging leaders' alongside other stars such as Dua Lipa and Florence Pugh. A profile was written to accompany each of the members of Time's 100 emerging leaders, many of which have been written by alumni of the magazine's 100 list. The Chancellor's profile piece discussed the furlough scheme, describing how he approved 'large handouts' for people whose jobs had been affected by coronavirus. Sunak and Rashford weren't the only Brits to feature on Time magazine's 100 'emerging leaders'. Time magazine's list also included a spot for poet Amanda Gorman, who most recently performed at President Joe Biden's inauguration.
