President Bola Tinubu has appointed Professor Shu’aib Aliyu as the Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund. “His appointment underscores the President’s commitment to strengthening key institutions in the petroleum sector and advancing capacity development for Nigeria’s energy industry. On Abdulaziz’s reappointment, the Presidency said the decision followed a review of his performance in overseeing the nation’s transmission network. It noted that under his leadership, the company recorded improvements in grid stability, expansion of transmission capacity, and system modernisation. Tinubu urged both appointees to discharge their duties with diligence and integrity in line with his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
