A/C versus C/F Projects and TasksSeveral years ago I attended a conference at MIT. One of the speakers talked at length about the difference between what he called "A/C projects" and "C/F projects." Because of their perceived value, these tasks tend to be more visible and valued than C/F-grade tasks, which are typically those that simply keep the business running. Even if A/C projects don’t meet all expectations, they are still seen as valuable because they were driving innovation and competitive advantage.
