England boss Southgate is planning to watch Heaton at Turf Moor as Burnley entertain Crystal Palace on Saturday and will then go to the Merseyside derby 24 hours later. Fit-again Heaton is in excellent form and is likely to return to the England fold when Southgate names his squad for the Euro 2020 qualifiers double header with Czech Republic and Montenegro later this month. England No.2 Steve Holland will watch West Ham’s Declan Rice with his papers in to FIFA so he can change allegiance from the Republic of Ireland. Newcastle’s Sean Longstaff is also in action but is unlikely to get a senior call-up having not been in the FA system before.
