Share TweetBy Minka Klaudia TiangcoThe alleged arsonist who caused a fire that killed six people and injured six others in Tondo, Manila surrendered to authorities Sunday before dawn. Inspector John Joseph Jalique, chief investigator of the Manila Fire Department, identified the suspect as Eduardo Loteyro, a resident of the area. Loteyro yielded to Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso and is now under the custody of the Manila Police District. Jalique said they have yet to determine Loteyro’s reasons for causing the fire, but confirmed that the blaze originated from his house.
