A top aide to the Connecticut federal prosecutor tapped by Attorney General William Barr to review the early days of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Russia investigation has resigned from the Justice Department, a spokesman for the federal prosecutor’s office said Friday. The aide, Nora Dannehy, was a longtime associate of Connecticut U.S. attorney John Durham, who since May 2019 had been reviewing the actions of investigators as they pursued links between the Trump campaign and Russian interference in the 2016 election.
