Coronavirus restrictions have seen a crisis developing in the Northern Ethiopian desert in the Afar region of the country. Australian surgeon Dr Andrew Browning AM operating in Africa, has made numerous trips to the continent to help. Dr Browning first worked in Africa in 1993-94 assisting in refugee camps in Tanzania during the Rwanda genocide crisis.
