A YouGov poll for The Times put the Tories on 41 per cent, up two points since mid-January, and Labour unchanged on 34 per cent. The Liberal Democrats are down one point on 10 per cent, with Ukip on 4 per cent. Mrs May now enjoys a 21-point lead over Mr Corbyn when voters are asked who would make the best prime minister. Mrs May was chosen by 40 per cent of voters, according to the poll, while Mr Corbyn was backed by 19 per cent.
