Several Toronto schools were put into lockdown or hold and secure Wednesday after two separate shootings in Etobicoke and Scarborough. Multiple Etobicoke-area schools, including Burnhamthorpe Collegiate Institute, Bloorlea Middle School and West Glen Junior School, were placed on hold and secure. At 3:14 p.m. police said they ended the hold and secure at all schools. With hold and secure, teachers and students are allowed to walk around but not allowed to leave the building.
