Canadian rapper Drake ended the year with a controversial move Monday, by enlisting a woman who threw Toronto into a frenzy at the beginning of the year for a one-second cameo in his latest music video. You may remember 19-year-old Marcella Zoia from a video that made rounds at the beginning of February, which showed her launching a chair off the 45th floor of a Toronto high-rise. At 2:38, the camera switches to Chair Girl, seemingly trying to get through the crowd, and … that’s it. The move, though, has some people questioning Drake’s choice, among them Toronto police inspector Chris Boddy, who tweeted, “Chair Girl? — Christmas B🥗ddy (@TPSChrisBoddy) December 24, 2019Another critic tweeted that they had “lost all respect for Drake” because of Chair Girl’s cameo.
