Total donates 12- unit doctors’ quarters to UUTH

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility and continued support for medical services in the country, Total Upstream Companies has built and donated to University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH) a 12-unit doctors quarters. Represented by Mr. Vincent Nnadi, executive general manager, Total Upstream Companies Nigeria, he stressed that with the work demands of medical doctors, providing them with adequate accommodation for quick response to their patients could not be overemphasized. “Given the nature of their work, doctors are usually required to work late into the night and respond quickly to life- threatening emergencies. The attendant security implications or late night movements are obvious to all”. The project was initiated by the Deep Offshore Affairs Communities Group (DOCAG) and implemented by Total Upstream on behalf of thegroup.
