Jose Mourinho has made it clear to Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy that he wants the club to bring in a target man in the January transfer window. Tottenham have been playing without an out-and-out striker ever since Harry Kane went down with a hamstring injury. Heung-Min Son and Lucas Moura have occupied the central role in recent weeks, but Tottenham are set for at least three months without being able to select Kane. AC Milan’s Krzysztof Piatek has emerged as a top target, with talk over a potential short-term loan deal. Porto forward Ze Luis and Christian Benteke have also been touted as potential targets for Tottenham.
