Bournemouth are anticipating a £40million bid from Tottenham Hotspur for defender Nathan Ake, according to The Sun. The 24-year-old Dutchman has excelled on the south coast since moving from Chelsea - initially on loan - in 2016. Chelsea themselves have shown an interest in Ake but are unable to take action under the restrictions of their transfer ban. Tottenham are weighing up a £40million move for Bournemouth centre back Nathan AkeSpurs are favourites in the race if they off the Cherries double the £20m paid to sign Ake in 2017. Manchester United are thought to be pursuing the Belgian centre back and are considering a bid to trigger his £25m release clause.
