Harry Kane appears to be edging closer to a Tottenham exit (Picture: Getty Images)Tottenham Hotspur icon Teddy Sheringham completely understands Harry Kane’s desire to leave the club and has backed him to think of his own career and find success elsewhere. Kane is known to want to move on from Spurs, with Manchester City looking like the most likely destination for the England captain. However, Sheringham says Kane is well within his rights to want to move to a more successful club than Spurs and think of his career and the trophies he could win elsewhere. ‘When someone of Harry’s reputation has come out and said that, he was forewarning the Tottenham fans: “Sorry, I need to leave, I need to play at the top level”.
