Tottenham news: John Heitinga leaving Spurs with Tudor bringing in new backroom staff

Recently appointed Tottenham assistant coach John Heitinga is leaving the club, with interim boss Igor Tudor bringing in three new backroom staff. Former Ajax manager Heitinga, who had also previously been part of Arne Slot's title-winning Liverpool coaching staff, only joined Spurs and Thomas Frank's backroom team in mid-January. The 42-year-old had been a consideration for the interim role following Frank's sacking last week but sources told BBC Sport that his appointment was unlikely. Tudor, who has signed a contract until the end of the campaign, will bring in his own coaching team, subject to work permits. Ivan Javorcic is set to join as his assistant, while Riccardo Raganacci and Tomislav Rogic will arrive as a physical and goalkeeping coach respectively.
