If Harry Kane goes then I worry for Tottenham,’ Merson told Sky Sports. ‘If everybody is back in stadiums next season then Tottenham fans will want to see Harry Kane there otherwise it’ll be pretty disappointing for those Tottenham fans. ‘Then it becomes a domino effect, all of a sudden Heung-Min Son turns around and goes ‘Well Harry Kane has gone, I want to go’ then it would really fall to pieces.
