Tottenham have reportedly moved in pole position to sign Kalidou Koulibaly ahead of Real Madrid in retaliation to the La Liga giants rejecting a loan proposal for Luka Jovic. Tottenham are looking to follow up the signing of Gedson Fernandes with more recruits in the January window. A striker is seemingly top of their list with Harry Kane out injured until April at the earliest. But the club have also made an enquiry to sign Jovic on a short-term loan from Real.
