Touhid Hossain today expressed deep sorrow over the death of veteran British journalist Sir William Mark Tully, who passed away on Sunday. Recalling Tully's role during the war in 1971, Touhid noted that his reports on BBC radio served as a vital source of information and inspiration for Bangladeshis. On behalf of Bangladesh, the foreign adviser conveyed heartfelt condolences and extended his sympathies to Tully's bereaved family, the statement said.
