Walailak explained that under Tourism 4.0, the key to success lay in a combination of strength from within and a qualitatively connection with the world. “Under the Tourism 4.0, we (TAT) have a plan to extend the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) initiative into tourism benefits, with the development of new connecting routes with neighbouring countries, including Cambodia and Vietnam. It was hoped this would lead to new attractions being added to tourism calendars for next year.
