Sales executive Brittany Zeng, 25, from China, said the imported King of Fruits back home were cheaperbut the taste was nothing compared to the durians here. “My family will make it a point to come here to eat the durians,” she said. The bumper harvest in Penang has brought down the durian prices by as much as half.
