It was a hectic day for motorists, commuters and residents plying the popular Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Wednesday as they all trapped in a prolonged traffic jam. Another commercial driver, George, said he regretted leaving home early to work due to the nasty traffic jam he encountered. Sir (referring to the reporter), you won’t believe that I left home around 6.30 a.m and I got to Berger Bus-stop by some minutes after 11 am,” he said. Some motorists were not so lucky as their vehicles broke down in the process on the expressway due to engines’ overheating.
