The mourning boda boda operators were more than 500 in number. [George Njunge, Standard]Traffic flow on the Nakuru-Nairobi highway was disrupted on Friday, June 4 to allow at least 500 boda boda riders escort the body of their colleague for burial. The boda boda operators moved in a cluster to Uplands Funeral Home in Nyambari, Kiambu County to collect their colleague’s remains at around 10am. The deceased was buried at a public cemetery in Ndeiya, an event attended by hundreds of boda boda riders. Njenga’s motorbike was positively identified by the boda boda riders through its registration plate.
