The Tragically Hip paid tribute to all of Canada as the band wrapped up their 15-stop tour in Kingston, Ont., with lead singer Gord Downie including a shout-out to the prime minister, who was in the audience. Between songs, Downie acknowledged Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. He called on the prime minister to take action on behalf of Canada's Indigenous people, and then said he expected Trudeau would have plenty of time to do it. Prime Minster Justin Trudeau wears a Tragically Hip T-shirt on his way to the concert venue. Shortly before the show started, the prime minister's photographer posted an image on Twitter of Trudeau embracing Downie.
